Senior Software Engineer

Fontis Health is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to add to its team of developers. This top level technical expert in one or more highly specialized phases of applications programming acts independently under general direction, and provides technical consulting on complex projects. As a member of the Fontis Development Team, you will be instrumental in the creation of a leading healthcare education and administration support platform. As Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
• Be responsible for database design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Demonstrate full technical knowledge of all phases of applications programming.

As needed, the Senior Software Engineer may have duties instructing, directing, and checking the work of other applications programming personnel, as well as quality assurance review responsibilities.

Work Experience Requirements:

• SQL Server 2000/2005
• Microsoft .Net – C#/ASP.Net
• Understands domain-driven design and is experienced with domain modeling.
• Knowledge of ORM tools.
• Unit testing-focused with an understanding of TDD.
• Knowledge of design patterns.

Education Requirements:

• College Degree or 8 years or more of related IT experience.
